Commissions
Alongside my print designs I often take on bespoke commissions. Take a look at some of my work...
Archerfield Walled Garden
Archerfield Walled Garden in East Lothian contacted me as they wanted a map to bring all their activities together. I used dip ink pen/digital colour to bring their magical walled garden, fairy trail, micro-brewery, retail outlet to life in this colourful yet highly informative plan to help the visitor quickly locate where they were and where they wanted to get to.
Climate Friendly Aberlady
Climate Friendly Aberlady asked for some tote bags to be designed and manufactured for the launch in 2017. I worked with the charity to design this eco-friendly cotton shopper bag using environmental appropriate images, which were inspired by the local landscape.
Outdoor Bar Services
I was approached by Outdoor Bar Services to design graphics for their Citroën van. In homage to 'Tom Purvis ' I decided to do a retake on his famous (LNER) railway poster, which I did by adapting and stretching out his iconic golfing scene to include a wide panorama of a recognisable but slightly fictional East Lothian landscape.
Bathed in sunshine and happy vibes this image includes some of Edinburgh and East Lothian's most famous landmarks from the skyline of the Royal Mile to the magnificent Bass Rock (described by Sir David Attenborough as the eighth wonder of the world)! I've been told this illustrated van always gets a smile and a 'honk' by other car users and passers by when out on the road.
